Basketball Victoria Return to Sport

Dear Coburg Basketball Association Members,

The Victorian Government, on the advice from the Department of Health, has enacted a five-day lockdown effective as of Thursday 15 July at 11.59pm.

In line with Victorian Government health directives, basketball in Victoria will be placed under the RED-0 REACTIVATION LEVEL until Tuesday 20 July.

This lockdown will affect both Greater Melbourne and regional Victoria, with all information as follows applying state-wide (regional Victoria may be eased out of restrictions earlier - depending on advice from the Victorian Government.)

VJBL

The VJBL round scheduled for Friday 16 July has been cancelled. Games will not be caught up due to previous lockdowns using up all previously allocated spare weekends. We will have further information available regarding fixtures as soon as possible.

BIG V

Big V’s Round 17 for the weekend of Friday 16 July – Sunday 18 July has been postponed. Further information on rescheduled Big V competition dates will be announced as soon as possible.

NBL1 SOUTH

NBL1 South Round 13 for the weekend of Friday 16 July – Sunday 18 July has been postponed. Further information on rescheduled NBL1 South competition dates will be announced as soon as possible.

REGIONAL UNDER-12 SKILLS DAYS

The Regional Under-12 Skills Days scheduled for 17-18 July have been postponed. Further information on the possibility of rescheduled Skills Days dates or refunds will be announced as soon as possible.
